We’ve decided to try our hand at social media, and have started a Town of Benson Facebook page. We are hoping to use it in conjunction with the work we’re doing on our new website, and we plan to use this page to get timely information out to the townspeople of Benson, including weather-related info, emergency management, and public events. We’re pretty new to all of this, so have patience with us as we figure it out. As we have limited resources to monitor social media (both from a staff perspective and the fact that our internet signal stinks), we plan to start out small. Our Town Clerk and Road Crew Foreman will have access to be able to make posts here and we hope to do more as we go along.
